Electric Bike Blog: February 2021

Welcome E-nthusiast, to the first Cruiser*Racer monthly Newsletter.

This month we began implementing a monthly update blog that we will frame as a Newsletter to help keep you all informed on the progress of this very new brand.

So, let us start by talking about our establishment, our purpose, our goals, what we have accomplished, and what we will accomplish moving forward.

Establishment

Cruiser * Racer was born out of necessity during a time when many of us in the world were questioning what was most important in life. Such a serious thought for a social bicycle club, however; the feeling behind the thought was powerful.

So powerful that there was indeed a bicycle shortage in the US for the entire year of 2020. Of course, there were many factors in play for such high demand.

In New York, the city in the east where bicycling is the best transportation over driving a vehicle. People there just as people everywhere feared the spread of the virus on public transportation.

Then there was lockdown and shutdown. Leaving people desperate to find recreational outlets to break the monotony and resist the onset of cabin fever.

There was also that group of us that decided the need for as many liabilities during a time of such financial instability was beginning to make us feel too vulnerable.

Yet more of us are buying bicycles because of the carbon footprints our species has been leaving on the planet. It's no secret that the current global temperature is rising faster than humanity can respond. At least a growing community of bicyclists can make a peaceful stand.

Now more than ever there are and continues to be a push for more vehicles to be manufactured in the world. There is no joking matter to the number of vehicles there are on the road.

There is a solution as I've mentioned before that solution is to present more electric vehicle technology. So, we aspired to be part of the solution and no longer dwell on the problems.

We established Cruiser*Racer on July 22, 2020. With establishing a custom electric bike fan page, naturally, a bike club evolved soon after. However, this is not your average bike club. This club has goals and ambition to establish an electric bike brand that builds custom bikes.

Our Purpose

Our first mission and mission statement are "Helping to present amassed option to two-wheel transportation"

As I said we are looking at the future of transportation and becoming part of the solution. By creating this platform, we are aiding to build and strengthen communities of e-bike enthusiasts by forging interwoven connections.

As mobile and soon to be international bike club, we are helping to bring e-nthusiast together from every corner of the world and every walk of life. Coming together to make a difference and change the way we impact our planet.

Our second mission is to serve our club members by involving them in this entire Start-Up process. Please understand that without our members and fans we are not a community!

2021 Goals

We are excited to begin the design process of the first C*R e-bike series. In our first quarter, we will begin production of a café racer electric bike using an aluminum frame, 27.5" wheelbase. Fitting to this frame a 1000W rear hub motor, 56V ion battery, and a center frame storage console.

As a brand, our focus is on building e-Cruiser and e-Café Racer bikes, also in our first quarter, we'll be learning how to use software to design our bike frames and storage boxes. In our second quarter, we will design a first-generation model of the Cruiser and Café Racer.

By our 4th quarter, we intend to have scaled our Electron Rebels BC membership to 100 members, also beginning our first annual Gifting Event where we will be raffling off a custom e-bike to our qualified members.

Lastly, we'll be ending 2021 with a project that will be released in the winter of 2022. "Winter in the Deseret" documentary, which will feature a road trip from the PNW to the Southwest in a campervan. We will document the trip events and a ton of riding from Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Current Accomplishments

As we began the process of producing this brand into existence, we spent the first three months July-Oct, focused on planning and preparing. You see, Cruiser*Racer is a small part of a much larger picture. It's just the first phase of an Enterprise that will continue to create and provide more value in the years to come.

In our next three months Nov-Jan, we mapped out our 2021 goals and began building on each of our six social media channels. We are currently operating on six because it is imperative for us to best figure out how to engage with you. So, if you'd like to leave some friendly advice, it'd be warmly welcomed and appreciated.

After the basics were we then began getting to work on creating content that we knew you'd want to hear, read, and watch.

Please be patient with us as we develop this brand and learn what entertains and engages your attention. Please also know that we want to make content that matters most to you. So, if you have any suggestions, or ideas on how we can improve and grow this brand. Don't hesitate to reach out and share your value.

Looking Ahead

Currently, it's the month of February and we are excited to be talking about the Tesla e-bike concept floating around the internet. We will also cover some common topics concerning e-bike such as weather safety, and reviewing the Himiway Cruiser e-bike.

This month we will be revealing a new logo design and revealing designs created for the Electron Rebels apparel line. Being that February holds several great celebrations, including Black History Month, Mardi Gars, and Chinese New Year. This month we'll do a special Friday Cruise while participating in the annual Monkeyshines Chinese New Year Scavenger Hunt.

Lastly, as I mentioned above. One of the first quarter goals is to start the build process of a racer e-bike. Well, this month we will reveal that frame that was chosen for the build.

Final Words

Well, my friends, the year is starting dynamically, and February is going to be a fantastic month, so without further words.
